I have been doing a bit of custom quilting lately and thought I would show you this lovely quilt Iris made. She made it by using her swap blocks that she received from our group. She has put them on point and added plain blocks and asked me to quilt some feathers and this is the end result, beautiful.

While I am sitting at the computer I thought I would upload a few more photos.

This quilt I made out of my hand died fabric's and I have quilted an eight pointed star in the centre using Renae Haddadin's Ray Ruler.

The detail of the feather quilting in the black area around the star is just beautiful.

Kay Dungavell beautiful quilt

I have just finished quilting this quilt and I was just in awe when it was finished. The quilt was made my Kay Dungavell from Charters Towers for her granddaughter. The designer of the quilt was Esther Aliu.
